Today the Riverside Museum Appeal’s Mini Cooper Sport revved up and sped off for its annual MOT test. Fingers crossed that all will be fine!

Some of you who visited the Museum of Transport may remember the Mini while it was on display. Its bespoke Riverside Museum Appeal decals adorn its British racing green bodywork, and give details about the appeal. The Mini, built in 2000, is one of the last models of its kind, and was very kindly donated to the Riverside Museum Appeal by Douglas Hutchison. The photos above show Museum of Transport technician Norma Tennent leaving MOT and taking the car for its MOT. Who knows, perhaps you saw it out and about on the streets of Glasgow too!
